SCHOLARSHIPS
EKGs for EGK is proud to be able to recognize people who not only support our mission and values, but also carry on the legacy of those who inspire us to continue this work.
In 2021, we began to offer a student scholarship to one student at each screening event we co-sponsor/sponsor. The student must demonstrate qualities that we all witnessed in Beth…giving back in small ways, being kind, and simply being a good human.
Additionally, one staff member who participates on the committee to manage, organize, and encourage participation in their school’s EKG screening is also eligible for a memorial grant from EKGs for EGK in memory of Christine Kunce (Beth’s mom). Chris was a teacher herself, and knew that it was not easy to add ANOTHER task to an educator’s plate. We want to recognize these efforts and thank them for prioritizing the health of the students.
